REFLITA by RAFA DEJOTA

Rafa Dejota is a brazilian artist, he lives and works in Sao Paulo-SP.
Since 2005 he´s been working with objects that people can interact, such as painted cardboard, fabrics and his most recent experiment, the ´reflectives´. Reflectives are a fun and surprising experience when participators get envolved in a optical game between observer, reflective material used in roads and street signs that provide light and movement between materials and bodies in space. He recently participated on Sao Paulo 2008´s biennale with collective Assume Vivid Astro Focus, and his reflectives pieces got to be tested with visitors and registrated. Those projects are a way of connecting people in a invisible light environment, and block the energy of cicles + subcicles of those multi-experiences in the atmosphere. He also designed stage sets and a dress with the singer M.I.A. in 2007. You can check more of Rafa´s reflectives journal experiences at

madame tussauds by matthew robert lutz-kinoy

Born in 1984 in New York City, living and working In Berlin.
"Matthew places himself at the center of the work. He features directly in a large proportion of the pieces from where he is able to manipulate and direct the action, and undermine his own role as artist within the production of artworks. Matthew’s works explore language; written, spoken, of objects, of colors, of preconceptions, and through all of these he manages to reclaim them not as meaningful or absolute but as exposed, isolated and intriguing" (Charles Danby, London 2007).

Recent exhibitions include Arratia Beer, Berlin; Urbis, Manchester; Thrust Projects, NY; Kunsthalle Baden Baden; Yukiko Kawase, Paris; Bischoff Weiss, London; Nunnery Gallery, London; as well as several in site performances/video projection around NY and Berlin. He will present the solo exhibition Welcome To The Story Of My Life June 30th 2009 at The Agency Gallery in London.

Matthew uses multiple media and techniques of expression, which are as diverse as drawings, collages, printmaking or video and even performance.

Whispering Pines 3 by shana moulton

Whispering Pines 3
2004, 7:33 min, color, sound

Shana Moulton creates evocatively oblique narratives in her video and performance works. Combining an unsettling, wry humor with a low-tech, Pop sensibility, Moulton plays a character whose interactions with the everyday world are both mundane and surreal, in a domestic sphere just slightly askew. As her protagonist navigates the enigmatic and possibly magical properties of her home decor, Moulton initiates relationships with objects and consumer products that are at once banal and uncanny.

Shana Moulton works in video and performance. Moulton studied at the University of California, Berkeley and Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh, where she received her MFA. Moulton has also recently attended the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture in Skowhegan, Maine, and studied at De Ateliers in Amsterdam. Her video work has been screened and exhibited internationally, including at The Armory Show Art Fair, New York; Smack Mellon, Brooklyn; Loop '05 Video Festival, Barcelona; Rencontres internationales Paris/Berlin, Paris; Aurora, Edinburgh; Dark Light Festival, Dublin; Impakt Festival, Utrecht; Internationale Kurzfilmtage, Oberhausen; Canada Gallery, New York; and Bellwether, New York. Moulton currently lives and works in Brooklyn, New York.
